Books (English) PAPER arrow Gauricus, Three Annual Horoscopes for Ferdinand I

Gauricus, Three Annual Horoscopes for Ferdinand I

Price: $68.00

When in the spring of 1532 Suleyman the Magnificent was amassing an enormous and terrible army aiming at Vienna,

Ferdinand I, the King of the Romans and Archduke of Austria summoned immediately the most famous astrologer in Europe asking him for advice and prognosis for the next 3 years.

The name of the astrologer was Lucas Gauricus.

What Gauricus told the King on the course of the future events in the years 1532, 1533 and 1534, how did he make his prognosis and the astrological techniques he used-  all this was written by the hand of Gauricus himself in Latin and send to the King.

This highly valuable manuscript was locked for centuries in the library chambers of Vienna under the label Codex Vindobonensis Palatinus 7433- untouched, untransliterated and untranslated by no-one.

Until now!

Today I am happy to announce that I have just finished work on this amazing document of Medieval Astrology and History and that it is available for everyone interested!
